HOW TO DOWNLOAD PRESETS FROM THE FENDER FUSE PORTAL.

Log in at the bottom right corner of the FENDER FUSE portal page

From the pull downwardly carte in the upper left corner select the NEW button and double click.

From the pull down menu select WEB Community and double click…  this brings you lot to the PRESET Page.

Select the preset yous want by clicking on the GREEN download button.

This will accept you to PRESET DETAIL page…

Double click Greenish download button to download… and your washed.

When y'all install Fender Fuse on your computer it will create a Fender Fuse folder in the Documents binder (Mac). Downloading the Preset Files to Documents / Fender / Presets is where I put the files I download from the Preset / Fender Fuse Portal. Widows volition create a folder every bit well, but I’m non sure where it will put it… you might take to do a search for it.

When yous have some presets downloaded, go to the Media Library in the Fender Fuse program. Make sure you have your amp connected to your calculator via a USB cable. Click on the reckoner tab in the right hand corner of the Fuse screen. You should see a list of the presets you downloaded previously. Select a preset and Control click Mac (Right click Windows) and a dialog box volition come up with “Save Preset to AMP”… right click and a second dialog box will announced with 2 options Preset Name and Save to Position. There will also exist an upwards and down pointer with an Bister, Light-green or Red circle beside the letters A B C etc. At that place are eight Bister, Greenish and Reddish presets each… Fender recommends that you should only use the Green and Ruddy preset slots for custom presets that y'all make or download. To overwrite a preset with one you’ve made or downloaded give information technology a name and toggle upwards or down the Greenish or Scarlet preset list until you get to one that you wish to overwrite… click OK… that'due south it.

If you don’t similar the presets you loaded you tin can reset your amp / Fuse to factory settings and beginning over.

To Reset, become to your amp. Plow it off. Agree down the go out push button and plow on the amp... hold it down until it stops flashing or a few seconds.

NONE of this stuff works for me with my Mustang 3 v.1.  None of it.  I have yet to always be able to download any preset from the Fender Fuse community without screwing up a preset I didn't want to mess with or some such.   The iv or five that I take managed to download, I hated and over-wrote them with my own anyway.  I merely don't demand the frustration.  It'due south just much easier and faster for me to just option an amp type, twiddle the knobs and make my own presets.

I'one thousand non sure what to say RR, I don't pretend to be an skillful in whatsoever style merely I accept a Mustang II v2 and the steps I described allow me to download and install presets on my amp. The issue most the quality of the presets on the Fender Fuse website is another story all together… I've downloaded some I liked and some I didn't, but I brand no claim or recommendation, favorable or otherwise about the over all quality of these presets.

I have used Fuse to download a few presets from the Fender forums with my Mustang's Mini, I, Iii and Flooring with no existent bug.

Fuse doesn't have the about intuitive interface.  Salvage does differently things depending on whether the amp is connected or not. Information technology'due south been awhile, but I recall I had to download the preset and save with the amp disconnected, which placed it on my PC.  I and then had to reconnect the amp and import the preset from the calculator.  It overwrote whichever preset I was on at the time, but non permanently unless I then explicitly saved over the original using Fuse or the "save" button on the amp. If I used Fuse, part of the process allows you to specify the number of the preset you wish to overwrite and to assign a name to it.

I'chiliad sure there are easier ways, but I didn't do it often enough to effigy them out.  It does work, however.

Don't you have to unlock the presets too before y'all can change or overwrite them? I vaguely remember having to do somthing like that the very outset time.

Paul 112, I was never able to find a style to preview pre-sets; I don't believe yous can. That always frustrated me a bit merely I would merely save it to a slot that I didn't care about and then either movement it to a better location if I liked it or only ignore it and overwrite it at some future time when I tried out something else. There are so many horrible pre-sets in the manufacturing plant gear up-up that you can always notice one y'all don't intendance about.

Paul112 the terminal dialog box should look like the image below... I've never seen it greyed out so I'thou non certain what to recommend. I'thou using a Mac, but if you got to the end as described, then I don't recall that could be an event. Try the steps once again and see if you get the same result.

No you lot can't preview the tones prior to download.  They are data files which, when loaded into the amp, provide the various amp settings and pedal setups.  Any tone previewed by listening to a recording or it would be discipline to the quitar used and the player playing information technology anyway.

But you can try a tone without saving information technology in the amp:
ane. Ready the amp to any preset,
    2. Load the preset you lot want to try.
three. Use information technology.  Every bit long equally you don't press the Relieve button on the amp or invoke the SAVE command from Fuse, the original preset in the amp won't exist afflicted.  As soon as you switch presets in whatever way, the preset you temporarily loaded in to the amp's working memory will be gone.
